Securing funding is a key element of working within the arts and increasingly important at a time when public subsidy is on the decline or levelling off. Most arts organisations and artists, will have at some point in their history, applied for and / or received funding. Ranging from initial start up contributions to a more regular income stream, it is important that you understand what is involved in securing these funds and in servicing requirements and developing relationships.

Approaching potential funders for the first time can be quite daunting, like may new things. But fear not!
